Volunteering
There are a number of ways you can help in our community, from volunteering with the Country Fire Service, to craft activities with the Christmas ReImagined project, to creating beautiful garden spaces.
Located in the heart of the Adelaide Hills, there is always a risk of bushfires.

Hahndorf Community Association
The Hahndorf Community Association actively supports many community projects, including the Byard Place nature habitat and the Strempel Avenue Memorial Garden. Upcoming projects include the Hahndorf Creek Clean up project. They have regular meetings on the second Wednesday of each month in the Hahndorf Institute.
The committee also has vacancies and welcomes new members.

ReImagine Christmas
The ReImagine Christmas project decorates the street with handmade and recycled goods.
Volunteers meet throughout the year to work on new decorations. Volunteers with fresh ideas are always welcome.

The Cedars is an award winning tourist location in Hahndorf. It is the original homestead of the renowned artist Sir Hans Heysen, and houses the original works of Hans and his artist-daughter Nora.
