We finally have progress on the restoration of Captain Hahn’s Statue in Pioneer Memorial Gardens.
ArtLab commenced the removal on 16th March. Renovations will take place from March to June 2026. The plinth will be rebuilt using new Waikerie stone that the community voted in favour of. Captian Hahn’s bronze bust will also get a bit of a polish before being replaced on his new plinth. Learn more about this project.
