Volunteers from the National trust of South Australia (Hahndorf Branch) and other community members, installed another mosiac on a Stobie pole on Mount Barker Road this morning. Many more are planned for the Stobie poles on the entrance road to Hahndorf.
The mosaics highlight the heritage of Hahndorf and add colour to drab concrete power poles. Keep an eye out for more to come, including one of the iconic St Pauls Church, and one featuring Nixon’s windmill and a classic old-style Germanic building. Volunteers from the Hahndorf Community Association are also thrilled to be contributing to the project.
