With over a million visitors a year, Hahndorf has experienced major parking issues for over 20 years. At the last Hahndorf Community Meeting, held on the 13th May at the Institute Hall, representatives of the Mount Barker District Council presented information on the Parking Management Plan for the township of Hahndorf. After the meeting, residents stayed for a light supper, taking the opportunity to discuss the plan with the speakers.
Community feedback on the plan will commence in June after which the final management plan will return to Council for endorsement. Residents, business owners and the broader community can have their say in early June when the Council will be seeking community feedback on the issue.
