Remembrance Day will be held again this year in Alec Johnston Park. The service will begin at 10:30am with the arrival of the Catafalque Party, followed by the memorial service, laying of the wreaths and music from the Cecilia Choir.
Afterwards tea and refreshments will be served at the Institute Hall at 59 Mount barker Road.
This year wreath making will be held at the Institute Hall from 1:30pm on Monday the 10th November. All are welcome to help make the wreaths to be laid at the service.

Come and admire the display of red and purple poppies created by volunteers in the Hahndorf community. The purple poppies represent the animal lives lost serving the men in the battlefields of the first and second world wars. Let’s not forget our four legged diggers too.
"They shall not grow old
As we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them
Nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun
And in the morning
We shall remember them"
LEST WE FORGET
